I'm so upset with MS Money discontinuation.
I was trying to move to Quicken, but i just don't like the way it works. i don't find it flexible and smart.
Hope MS will chenge it's ming after the crisis is over.

I agree wholeheartedly. I just finished going through the documentation on Quicken and there is no way that I'm converting. My online services on Money 2007 are going to expire any day now, and I simply intend to update my prices manually and pay bills manually through my bank and credit card sites. That is still superior to what Quicken offers.

After two hours of trying to find someone at Microsoft to "purchase" an extension to my software which it kept offering me, I finally was connected to a "sales person" that told me NO, YOU CANNOT BUY ANY EXTENSION.

Guess what? In all my searching about what to do (short of buying Quicken), I found a comment somebody said "simply change the date on your computer to a date before your expiration date on Money"

Woo Hoo!!! it works. A little cumbersome but it works. (1)Change your computer date via control panel, (2)open Money and download the price updates. (3)Close money, (4)change the date back to current via control panel, finally (5)reopen money. Take a look at your portfolio or update prices manually and you should see the price for the time you just downloaded (I do this after the market closes). To double check, I created a sampling portfolio in AOL finance. I'm a happy lady right now! I was NOT looking forward to the conversion. Mikolay, AaronF and Others I hope this works for you too. (I don't know if the news updates are current, but my issue was trying to get my portfolio updated, I can always research on AOL) Good Luck, DBO
